Our Story
Iglesia Hispana de Brandon started in September 2012 with only 9 people meeting at pastor Alain’s house. When the church started growing, we rented space from another church for nearly two years, holding services on Sundays at 5 PM. Early on our third year we moved to Horizon Christian Church, on St. Cloud Ave, in Valrico, FL. During our time renting from them we grew substantially. Horizon merged with Centerpoint Church and started meeting together in their building nearby. The property in St. Cloud Ave was put on sale and since we were there by that time for about 4 years, we felt at home and saw the opportunity to own this facility of two buildings of approximately 34,000 Sq Ft on 16 acres of land, it seemed at the time like a dream come true and an answered prayer. In preparing financially to acquire the property, we learned about The Solomon Foundation and developed a relationship with their CEO and their Vice President and Relationship Manager. Centerpoint Church decided not to sell the property but instead use the building on St. Cloud Ave as their main campus. We started looking for other options and found our property in John Moore Rd, while temporarily meeting a few miles down the road, at Christ Community Church. During COVID-19 we finished construction of our new church building with approximately 20,000 Sq Ft of space and a 500-seat auditorium. During that time we also rebranded from Iglesia Hispana de Brandon to Multicultural Family Church. This is just the beginning, God hasn’t finished with us! You could be part of our story for the upcoming years!
