What's Happening at MFC...
This Sunday, February 11, after the Spanish Service @ the Multipurpose Room, the Youth Ministry will have a meeting with all parents who have children in the Middle and High School Groups. We need your support to work together and ensure that our young people strengthen their relationship with the Lord. We look forward to see you there.
Every Wednesday at 7:30 P.M., we have our Youth Service (Middle Schoolers, High Schoolers and Young/College Adults).
On Wednesday, February 14, in addition to our usual Youth Service, we will have baptisms. Everyone is cordially invited to witness and accompany our young people during this special time.
All the youth meet in the temple to have their Youth Night where they connect, play interactive games and then have their worship time together. Then they are separated into groups according to their age; middle school, high school and young adults. For information regarding MFC Youth Groups, please click here.
Small Groups
Small groups are a great way to connect and build lasting relationships. This is also the official way our church uses to care for one another. You will be able to meet with other people who seek to grow spiritually and study the Bible together.
This are the groups that gather during the week: Bible Study/Family Group (meet Wednesday at 7:15 P.M. at MFC), Youth Groups (meet Wednesday at 7:30 P.M. at MFC), Single Adults Group (meet every other Friday at 7 P.M. in Valrico), Married Young Couples (meet every Friday at Riverview), Women's Group (meet occasionally).
This is a perfect time to be part of a group that satisfies your needs, schedule, location, etc. If you do not attend any group, do it and experience what it is to make a connection in our community; for more information click here.
Would you like to open a small group or be a host?
Join an existing group.
Put all your effort into making your group grow, supporting your group leader, giving the best of yourself; so that the fruit of your character, maturity, abilities and passion is evident.
Your group leader will notice leadership in you and you will be his or her apprentice for a while.
Continues to pray and talk to a friend at church about joining your group and then potentially forming a new group. If you don't have friends in church yet, get on with making new friends; that is the most efficient way to grow a group: relationships! The groups would have a maximum of 8 people; Then it would be very easy to start if you and your friends invite others.
Talk to your leader and your friends and prepare the logistics of the new group (Where, When, Virtual or In-Person, ETC).
Attend group leader/guide training.
Open the group!
Bible Study Group takes place every Wednesday from 7:15 P.M. to 8:15 P.M. at the MFC Multipurpose Room. Right now, we are doing a systematic study of the book of Ephesians. It’s a time to get questions answered and to participate in discussions of the Word. The class is taught mainly by Pastor Aubrey Kishna, Th.D. Dr. Kishna has been teaching at Bible Colleges for over ten years.
You would definitely expand your knowledge of the Word by participating in this class, you are welcome to join this group.
Communication
Communication is essential for you to stay informed! Currently the most efficient method of communication has proven to be by text messages. It is very important that you provide your contact information in order to update our database and ensure that you receive the information we send. For this, you can stop by the hospitality counter or please call our offices at (813) 413-1716 or write an email to admin@multiculturalfamily.church.
