MFC Video Editor & Production Specialist
Location: Brandon, FL
Position Type: Part-Time (Approximately 10 hours/week; more as needed)
Hourly Rate: $20–$25/hour (based on experience and skill set)

Position Summary:
Multicultural Family Church is seeking a creative, fully bilingual (English and Spanish) Video Editor & Production Specialist to serve as a vital part of our media ministry. This role involves editing and producing videos for weekly services, announcements, and special projects in both English and Spanish, posting content to YouTube and the church website, and leading video production sessions.
This is a hands-on, highly collaborative position requiring a strong sense of excellence, leadership in media production sessions, and a heart fully invested in the life and mission of the church.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Weekly Sermon Video Editing (Sunday Nights)
- Edit both English and Spanish sermon videos weekly.
- Prepare and upload final sermon videos to YouTube and the church website.
- Completion expected every Sunday night (Approx. 3 hours weekly).
2. Weekly Worship Video Editing (Sunday Nights)
- Edit one worship song video recorded during any Sunday service (English or Spanish).
- Upload to YouTube and the church website.
- Completion expected every Sunday night (Approx. 1 hour weekly).
3. Production of Weekly Announcement Videos (Wednesdays, 4–10 PM)
- Lead recording sessions with the News Creative Media Team:
- Set up lighting, audio, camera angles, and direct on-camera talent.

- Edit content into two versions:
- Triple-wide screen version for Sunday service.
- Standard format version for social media and weekly emails.
- Triple-wide screen version for Sunday service.
- Includes production of the “This Week’s Hero” recognition video.
- Upload and deliver videos for various platforms.
- (Approx. 6 hours weekly).
4. Video Projects on Demand
- Produce, record, edit, and post additional advertising, training, or teaching videos as needed.
- Complete during regular Wednesday work hours or through additional scheduled hours as demands increase.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Spiritual Commitment:
- Must be a member of Multicultural Family Church or willing to become a member immediately upon hiring.
- Must actively attend Sunday services and be fully engaged in church life.

- Language Skills:
- Must be fully bilingual (English and Spanish), able to communicate, edit, and produce content fluently in both languages.

- Experience and Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in video editing and media production preferred.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Experience with audio mixing, lighting setups, directing small shoots, and basic graphic design.
- Familiarity with multi-format delivery (YouTube, websites, triple-wide screens, social media optimization).
- 2+ years of experience in video editing and media production preferred.
- Personal Attributes:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct volunteers and actors during video shoots.
- Highly organized, dependable, and able to meet weekly deadlines.
- Good communicator, capable of maintaining open, collaborative communication with the Senior Pastor, Worship Pastor, Communications Admin Assistant, Creative News Media Team, and other church leaders and volunteers.
- Teachable, adaptable, and enthusiastic about serving and growing in ministry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct volunteers and actors during video shoots.
- Technical Requirements:
- Knowledge of camera operation (DSLR or mirrorless cameras preferred).
- Basic knowledge of sound recording, lighting design, and staging for video production.
- Strong understanding of file formats, compression, and publishing for web and social media.

Work Schedule:
- Sunday Nights: Approximately 4 hours (remote work acceptable if deadlines are met).
- Wednesdays (On-Site): 6 hours, from 4 PM–10 PM.
- Additional Hours: As project needs arise.
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $20–$25/hour based on experience, skill set, and performance.
